“First time staying here and it was wonderful. The view was gorgeous, rooms were very cozy, comfortable, and clean. They do offer free breakfast which we missed but overall, a nice change of scenery coming from the busy fast paced city. We’d definitely stay there again!”

“The interior of the small apartment was clean. The bed was uncomfortable, however; the mattress needs to be replaced. We knew it was a double bed, but rolling into each other made for a bad night's sleep which was aggravated by the amazing number of dump trucks who ground through their gears rounding the corner of Route 7. On the other hand, after I asked for a hot plate so I could boil some water for dinner, the host provided us with a pot, steamer, and wonderful hot plate that worked...

“This property was just as pictured. Very spacious and clean. People who have any issues with steps should caution. There are steps to enter rither by the front or back door. Also the 3rd bedroom and the second bathroom are downstairs. There was also a great deal of noise down in that bedroom, from either the air conditioner and or the plumbing. “Great place to stay! We played air hockey and darts and watched movies in the basement. Also used the fire pit! We did have trouble finding a grocery store that was nearby, so it's smart to plan out buying stuff before you head to the Lodge.”

“The host was readily available for all our questions and provided drinks, snacks , candy and all sorts of amenities for our stay. The house was stocked with essentials and the property provided ample entertainment for the grands from a fully loaded game room ( ping pong, foosball , basketball, Pac man, horseshoe's,game closet) to each having their own double bed in a beautifully decorated kids room . “This place was amazing! Easy access from interstate, clean, comfortable beds, host-provided drinks/snacks, beautiful setting. The home was more than we could have hoped. From the moment we walked in, it was welcoming. The host has taken extra steps to make sure your stay is memorable and relaxing, and the effort is appreciated. We only needed the place for one night, but will mark this as a favorite for future visits to the area.”

“Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. I’ve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. ”

“Upon arrival we found mouse droppings throughout most of the kitchen drawers with chewed up paper towels. The home was very dusty and there was dog hair under couches, stairs, and around fire place. The home had lots of space and beautiful surroundings. With a deep clean and routine maintenance it would be a great place. Communication from host was good but we weren’t satisfied with how they handled our concerns. ”
