“Bed bugs. Holes in the ceiling and wall of the room. Water does not drain in the sink. Water leaking in the bath tub. Worst hotel I stayed in despite of paying 191 dollars for one night.”

“Staff was incredibly helpful and accomodating while we stranded due to a bad storm during our a motorcycle trip. Will absolutely stay again!”

“The room was dirty when we got there. Urine in the toilet, hair in the tub, used towels on the floor, the bed obviously slept in. I called and let them know, to be fair they came and cleaned it.. sort of. The tub still had hair in it, and the paperwork meant for the previous guests was still in the room and a stink bug was still on the dresser. Add to this we had to go somewhere else and wait, after driving… to come back to it still not done. Basically it tainted the entire experience. If this...

“The property was very nice, the rooms and amenities were very clean. It was a cute little spot, I recommend staying if you're in the area! Our bed sagged a little in the middle but otherwise we had no issues with our stay.”

“Very clean, easy check in and beds were very comfortable!”

“It was a lovely little place to get away from the hustle of everyday life. Just spent the one night on our way to SC, but it would be a nice place to spend some time.”

“needs some tlc, was noisy with road traffic, pets loved back fenced yard”

“Four women on year 40 of getting together each summer. We stayed at Alpine lake 10 years ago, but in a different property not by the lake. This old log house is perfect in terms of location. Our absolute favorite is the porch and experiencing the lake in the early morning sun, afternoon and evening! What a delight. The beds are comfortable and the showers hot. The kitchen has a nice selection of stainless steel pots and kitchen gadgets. The stairs to the upstairs do not have a banister, so...

“This was perfect for my family, we were going out to visit Prickett's Fort which is about 40 mins from the house. With traveling with 12 people this house had everything we needed plus more. Jeff was in constant communication with us. Would recommended to anyone.”

“This property was just as pictured. Very spacious and clean. People who have any issues with steps should caution. There are steps to enter rither by the front or back door. Also the 3rd bedroom and the second bathroom are downstairs. There was also a great deal of noise down in that bedroom, from either the air conditioner and or the plumbing. The person that slept down there said they heard every time the toilet flushed upstairs during the night; and they could hear some sort of...

“The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the property was very private and pretty!”

“We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We had 4 people and our dog. The place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing and the pool. Look forward to returning there in the future.”

“I have been traveling for work for years and out of all my stay, this was my favorite. Traveling often just doesn't feel like home. But, this was better than just being home. Waking up to views off the porch was a great way to start the morning. And just relaxing in the evening on the same porch was just as relaxing. Home was very clean and the host's were very detailed in every part of the cabin. I honestly didn't want to leave. I hope to come back again.”

“We enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed sitting on the upper porch and enjoying the breeze. This property is very close to the golf course. We would have liked screens in the windows so we could leave the windows open at night. Very nice washer and dryer unit.”

“We loved this cabin! It was clean and cozy with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved all the options for outdoor seating. We could spread out and really enjoy the property.”

“Overall very nice place. Very clean. Was very well stocked. Would stay again without any concerns.”

“Our stay here was great, and Sherry was easy to communicate with and responsive. We stayed for two nights. The home was clean and in a nice spot directly across from the river. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet at night. Space throughout the home was nice as we were there with nine people, but we never felt cramped. I will say the stairs are squeaky going up and down, but it didn't bother us as it was somewhat expected of an older home. I only mention it because if you have...

“Home was beautiful and location was cozy and peaceful. Loved it so much extended an extra day and plan on going back.”
